The Papillon is a happy dog who makes a great house pet. They make very good watch dogs, alerting their owners of strangers. He prefers to cuddle with his owner, to whom he becomes affectionately attached for life.

The Portuguese Water Dog is a lively, fun-loving dog. He is adaptable to any living situation--city or country--as long as he gets enough exercise. He is loaded with energy and doesn't tire easily. He is highly trainable, and water, of course, is his favorite place to play.

Pugs combine a cocky confidence with a friendly, sensitive nature. They are great with kids and thoroughly relish playtime and exercise.
